MinecraftArtBedrock Block Art Builder

Bedrock Add-On guide

Import the Add-On and build your artwork.

MinecraftArt creates a behavior pack on your device. The pack contains the build functions, not your original picture. Use a copied world or an empty test world because the build replaces every block inside the artwork rectangle.

Enabling cheats disables achievements in that world. MinecraftArt cannot enable cheats, activate packs, restore overwritten blocks, or confirm what happened inside Minecraft. This version has no automatic undo.

Four steps

  1. Open the downloaded .mcpack.

Open the .mcpack with Minecraft and wait for the import message.

  2. Activate the matching MinecraftArt pack.

Edit your copied or empty test world, open Behavior Packs → My Packs, select the matching MinecraftArt pack, and choose Activate.

  3. Prepare a safe test world.

Enable cheats in the copied or empty test world, enter the world, and stand in an open area.

  4. Face the build direction and run the command.

Face where the wall art should appear and run the exact /function minecraftart_…/build command from the same download. The artwork starts three blocks in front of you.

Android

Open the download notification or your Files app, then open the .mcpack with Minecraft. If Minecraft is not offered, find the file in Downloads and use Open with. Return to the world settings and activate the imported pack under Behavior Packs.

iPhone and iPad

Open Files, find the .mcpack, touch and hold it, choose Share, then select Minecraft. After Minecraft reports the import, edit your test world and activate the pack under Behavior Packs.

Windows

Open the downloaded .mcpack. If Windows asks which app to use, choose Minecraft for Windows. Wait for the import result, then activate the pack in the test world's Behavior Packs.

Troubleshooting

The download ends in .mcpack.zip

Some Android browsers or older cached releases may identify the Add-On as a ZIP container and append .zip. Do not extract it. In Files → Downloads, rename only the final .zip so the filename ends in .mcpack, then use Open with → Minecraft.

Minecraft says the import failed

Confirm you are using Bedrock 26.32, download a fresh Add-On from MinecraftArt, and try again. Every download has a new pack identity, so a fresh file also avoids conflicts with an earlier package.

The pack is missing

Open Behavior Packs → My Packs, not Resource Packs. The pack name shown on the webpage must match the name in Minecraft.

The function does not exist

Confirm the matching pack is active in this world and copy the command from the same MinecraftArt download. A command from an older pack uses a different path.

The command has no permission

Enable cheats and Operator Commands for the player running the function. Enabling cheats disables achievements in that world. If you need to keep achievements, do not run the Add-On; use the PNG and materials list instead.

The artwork is in the wrong place

Move to an open area, face the intended direction, and run the command again. MinecraftArt cannot restore overwritten blocks and does not provide automatic undo in MVP0.
